Sr. Human Resources Business Partner - Operations

Description The Sr. HRBP will act as a trusted advisor; proactively engaging with program leadership to influence and positively impact the organization by identifying resources and formulating/presenting actionable recommendations/options for leadership consideration. This position provides leaders with coaching, consultation, and guidance regarding effective management of people, structure, organization effectiveness, and workforce planning. Additionally, key responsibilities will include partnerships with relevant HR Centers of Excellence subject matter experts in designing and delivering innovative HR solutions in core areas to include the following: Total Rewards and Performance Management, Talent Management and Development, Staffing/Workforce Strategy, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee/Labor Relations and Investigations, Leave and Benefit Administration, and Compensation. Specific to the unionized workforce, the Sr. HR Business Partner will work in partnership with the Employee/Labor Relations COE, to include, but is not limited to the following: oProvide day to day employee and labor relations support to ensure proper handling of various issues; escalate complex employee and labor relations issues to the COE for handling oAssist in resolving, coaching and guiding managers through employee/labor relations issues in partnership with the COE oEstablish and maintain effective relations with labor organizations that represent employees, administer labor agreements, and confer with labor unions on behalf of the company in partnership with the COE oProvide employee/labor relations training to field managers as directed by the COE oParticipate in Joint Labor Management Council Meetings in partnership with the COE oResolve grievances between the grieving employee/union and the company in partnership with the COE oCarry out reductions in force and terminations in partnership with the COE oPerformance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions via corrective action/performance management in accordance with company polices, CBA and ABC compliance led by Employee/Labor Relations Business Partner in partnership with HRBP oOther duties as assigned Desired Skills: oOrganizational Development: Support and work with business teams and functions to understand current and future business goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiative. Partner with Southern Glazer's University and business leaders to develop programs and initiatives which help educate and reinforce the culture with teams oAnalytical Skills: Possess the skills and ability to present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership using analytics and insights based on analytics along with sound business acumen oUnionized Workforce: Experience working in a unionized workforce, teamsters preferred oMust demonstrate strong decision making and judgment, oral and written communication, business acumen skills oProven success in implementing core talent management processes oDemonstrated ability to execute quickly, effectively and consistently oStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills required oConfidence interacting with senior/executive leadership oThe successful candidate will consult with leadership, employees, and cross-functional groups to solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of the client's leadership team Qualifications Basic Qualifications: oBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, HR or related field oMinimum of 10+ years of experience in delivering strategic HR methodology, employee/labor relations within a unionized workforce, teamsters preferred oStrong Communication, Presentation, Facilitation and Negotiation skills oDemonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results oDemonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees and peers locally and virtually oWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to analyze metrics oAbility to travel to other geographic sites within the Western United States as needed - travel 5-10% Job ID UNI00000459

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
